Below is included with the cost of registration and provided to every football player:
Items to be returned at the end of the season
- Helmet – All players will be outfitted with a NOCSAE Certified helmet that meets all current condition standards. Our current team helmets are Schutt, Xenith, and Riddell, which are rated as a “5 Star – Best Available” by the independent Virginia Tech helmet rating. If you prefer to provide your own helmet you may do so - our helmets are maroon with a black facemask.
- Shoulder Pads – All player will be outfitted with Riddell or Schutt youth shoulder pads. These are a newer designed shoulder pad to meet all current and up to date safety standards. If you prefer to provide your own shoulder pads, you may do so.
Items that each player will keep
- Uniform Pants
- 2 Custom Game Jerseys – Each player is provided a personalized team jersey with their name on the back, to keep at the end of each season. The option for a player to have their game jersey customized with last name and number preference is dependent on meeting the registration deadline before the uniform order is placed. If a player isn't registered before the deadline, the player will receive a uniform but it will not be personalized. The last date to be sized for a custom uniform will be provided in the late spring as we continue to work with our uniform provider.
Additional Equipment:
- Each player will be required to provide the following: Football Cleats, Mouth Guard with Keeper Strap, 5 or 7 Pad Girdle, and Sports Protector.
- PIAA has recently outlawed the use of several mouth guards (Rule 9-5-1(c)). As such they will not be prohibited in Buxmont Pop Warner. These include: 3D Ice Chain Max AirFlow Football Mouthguard (ShockDoctor), Spinner Oxygen Football Mouthguard (Battle), Binky Oxygen Football Mouthguard-- All Varieties (Battle)
